Fueled by a full-on breakfast, we started the day checking out the sleek lines of Hallgrimskirkja before venturing out into the North Atlantic Ocean for whale watching. Then, having picked up our car, we drove into the long hours of the evening to see the eruptions of Geysir and the unforgettable sight of the Gullfoss waterfalls.
